Ásthildi Lóu Þórsdóttur spyr fjármála- og efnahagsráðherra um það hvort Skatturinn ætti að krefjast þess að fólk sé með launatekjur á Íslandi til að geta fengið greiðsluáætlun fyrir skuldir. Þetta skiptir máli vegna þess að þessi krafa gerir það ómögulegt fyrir Íslendinga sem búa erlendis að fá fyrirgefna gömul opinber gjöld sem eldri eru en tíu ár. Þingkona spyr einnig hvort þessi framkvæmd brjóti reglur um frjálsa för starfsmanna innan EES-svæðisins. Svörin munu segja okkur hvort ríkisstjórnin telur þessa aðferð réttlætanlega og hvort hún er tilbúin að breyta henni til að jafna kjör fyrir Íslendinga heima og úti.
Ásthildi Lóu Þórsdóttur asks the Minister of Finance whether the tax authority should require people to have earned income in Iceland to obtain a payment plan for tax and public fee debts. This matters because this requirement makes it impossible for Icelanders living abroad to seek forgiveness of old public debts over ten years old.
