Hanna Katrín Friðriksson spyr háskóla-, iðnaðar- og nýsköpunarráðherra þrjár spurningar um rafræn skilríki á Íslandi. Hún vill vita af hverju Ísland fylgir ekki sömu stöðlum og önnur Evrópulönd fyrir rafræn skilríki, og í hvaða löndum geta Íslendingar því ekki notað sín skilríki á netinu. Hún spyr einnig um stærri verkefni sem Þjóðskrá Íslands átti að ljúka með styrk frá Evrópusambandinu til að setja upp gátt fyrir rafræn skilríki. Þetta skiptir máli vegna þess að ef Ísland fylgir ekki sömu stöðlum og önnur lönd geta Íslendingar ekki auðveldlega nálgast þjónustur og stofnanir í Evrópu á netinu. Svörin munu sýna hvort Ísland sé of seint komið með þessa tækni og hvort þjóðir okkar sé að eyða peningum óskynsamlega.
Hanna Katrín Friðriksson asks the Minister of Higher Education, Industry and Innovation three questions about Iceland's electronic identification system.
