Bryndís Haraldsdóttir spyr dómsmálaráðherra um ofbeldi í nánum samböndum og tengsl þess við manndráp á Íslandi. Hún vill vita hve mörg manndráp hafa tengst slíku ofbeldi síðan 2000, hversu stór hluti allra manndrápa það eru, og hvort verið hafi að kanna hve margar tilkynningar til lögreglu um ofbeldi voru gerðar fyrir manndrápin. Þetta skiptir máli vegna þess að það getur hjálpað okkur að skilja stærð vandans og hvort það væru viðvörunarmerki sem máttu greipa. Svörin myndu segja okkur hvort ofbeldi í samböndum leiðir oft til dauða og hvort lögreglumenn hefðu getað gripið inn fyrr.
