Gísli Rafn Ólafsson spyr heilbrigðisráðherra um sjúklinga með ME-sjúkdóminn (útmattunarkrabbamein). Hann vill vita hversu margir þessir sjúklingar hafa fengið hjálpartæki á síðustu 10 árum og hversu margir sóttu um en fengu neitun. Hann spyr einnig hvaða réttindi ME-sjúklingar hafa til stuðnings frá heilbrigðiskerfinu. Svörin myndu sýna okkur hvort ME-sjúklingum er nægilega vel sinnt og hvort búið er til að veita þeim nauðsynlega aðstoð og tæki.

He wants to know how many of these patients have received assistive devices over the past 10 years and how many applied but were denied. He also asks what rights ME patients have for support from the health system. The answers would reveal whether ME patients are being adequately served and whether necessary assistance and equipment are being provided to them.
