Þórarni Ingi Pétursson asks the Minister of Food Production whether he intends to take further measures beyond existing payments to strengthen domestic food production, in light of a task force report from June 2022 on the serious situation in Iceland's agriculture. He also asks whether the minister plans to provide direct financial support or review tariff protection and working conditions for farmers.
