Hann vill vita hvaða fyrirtæki og einstaklingar eiga kvótana, hver á bak við þessi fyrirtæki, og hvort 50 ríkustu eigendurnir stjórna stórum hluta kvótanna. Þetta skiptir máli vegna þess að það sýnir hvort veiðiréttur Íslendinga hefur safnast saman á fáum höndum eða dreifst víðar. Svörin myndu segja okkur hvort fiskveiðikvótakerfið sé í höndum fárra stærri aðila eða hvort það sé meira dreifðara eignarhald.
