Andrés Ingo Jónsson spyr dómsmálaráðherra um hvernig fatlaðir útlendingar sem sækja um alþjóðlega vernd eru meðhöndlaðir á Íslandi. Hann vill vita hve margir slíkir einstaklingar hafa sótt um á síðustu fimm árum, hvort Útlendingastofnun hefur tekið fötlun þeirra alvarlega og hvort starfsfólkið hefur fengið sérstaka þjálfun til að skilja þarfir fatlaðs fólks. Þetta skiptir máli vegna þess að fatlaðir flóttamenn eru oft í sérlega viðkvæmri stöðu og Ísland hefur skuldbindingar samkvæmt alþjóðasamningum um réttindi fatlaðs fólks. Svörin myndu sýna hvort Ísland er að fylgja þessum skyldum sínum og hvort kerfið virkar sanngjarnt fyrir fatlada fólka.
