Andrés Ingi Jónsson spyr umhverfis-, orku- og loftslagsráðherra tvo hluti um mat á loftslagsáhrifum nýrra laga. Fyrsti spurningin er hvenær ráðuneytið lauk vinnu við viðmið til að meta hvernig ný lög myndu hafa áhrif á loftslag, samkvæmt aðgerð G.6 úr loftslagsáætlun frá 2020. Seinni spurningin er hvaða lög hafa raunverulega verið metin með þessum viðmiðum. Þetta skiptir máli vegna þess að það sýnir hvort Ísland er sannarlega að athuga loftslagsáhrif nýrra laga áður en þau samþykkt, eins og það ætlaði sér. Svörin munu segja okkur hvort þessir undirbúningsplánir hafa í raun verið framkvæmdir og notaðir.
Andrés Ingi Jónsson asks the Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate about assessing climate impacts of new legislation. He first asks when the ministry finished developing guidelines to evaluate how new laws would affect climate, as required by action G.6 in a 2020 climate action plan. His second question is which laws have actually been assessed using these guidelines. This matters because it shows whether Iceland is truly checking the climate effects of new laws before passing them, as it committed to doing. The answers will reveal whether these planning requirements have actually been implemented and used in practice.
