Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson spyr umhverfis-, orku- og loftslagsráðherra tvo hluti um kolefnishlutleysi Íslands. Í fyrsta lagi spyr hann hvernig framvindan gengur með því markmiði að Ísland verði kolefnishlutlaust eigi síðar en árið 2040, sem var sett í lög árið 2021. Í öðru lagi spyr hann hve miklum álagi á ári skal draga úr losun frá núverandi stigi til þess að ná þessu markmiði. Svörin munu sýna okkur hvort Ísland sé á réttri leið með loforð sín um loftslagsbreytingar og með hvaða aðferðum það stefnir að þessu mikilvæga umhverfismarkmiði.
