Diljá Mist Einarsdóttur spyr fjármála- og efnahagsráðherra um gistináttaskatt sem innheimtað er frá gistireksturnum. Hún vill vita hversu mikið fé var safnað á hverju ári frá 2011 til 2022, skipt eftir tegund gistirýma (heimagisting, hótel, veitingastaðir) og eftir landshlutum. Hún spyr einnig hversu margar krónur ríkið hefur eytt í að byggja og viðhalda vinsælum ferðamannastaðum á sama tímabili, einnig skipt eftir svæðum. Þetta skiptir máli vegna þess að við getum séð hvort gistiskattshöfundin sé dreifð jafnt um landið og hvort ríkið endurinvesti þá peninga þangað sem skatturinn kemur frá.
