Þorbjörg Sigríð Gunnlaugsdóttir spyr dómsmálaráðherra um fjölda lögreglumanna á Íslandi og hvort hann hefur aukist með sama hraða og fólkafjöldi. Hún vill vita hversu margir lögreglumaður eru á hvern íbúa og ferðamann, og hvernig Ísland stendur sig í samanburði við öur Evrópuríki. Spurningarnar benda til þess að hugað sé til þess hvort lögreglan hafi næg manafang til að takast á við vaxandi ferðamennsku og fólkafjölgun á landinu. Svörin myndu gefa yfirsýn yfir það hvort lögreglustéttin sé nógu stór og hvort þörf sé á fleiri starfsmönnum.
