Vilhjálmi Árnason spyr innviðaráðherra hvort hefur verið skoðað að nota heimild umferðarlaga til að hækka hámarkshraða á tilteknum vegköflum. Hann vill vita hvers vegna ráðuneytið ákvað að nota ekki þá heimild ef hún hefur verið til umfjöllunar. Svar við fyrirspurninni myndi segja okkur hvort stjórnvöld hafi íhugað hærri hraðamörk og á hvaða forsendum þau myndu hafna eða samþykkja slíka breytingu.
