Indriði Ingi Stefánsson spyr innviðaráðherra hversu mörg umferðarslys hafa átt sér stað á síðastliðnum tíu árum þar sem ökumaðurinn átti ökuskírteini frá landi sem hefur ekki samning við Ísland um að viðurkenna erlend ökuskírteini. Hann vill fá svarið sundurliðað eftir árum og hvort fólk slasaðist í slysunum. Þetta skiptir máli vegna þess að það gæti sýnt hvort erlendir ökumenn með ógild skírteini á Íslandi valda fleiri slysum og hvort þörf sé á strangari reglum. Svarið mun segja okkur hversu stór þetta vandamál er í raun og hvort það er nauðsynlegt að grípa til aðgerða.
