Hann vill vita hversu oft fengildin hafi verið sokkdregin vegna veikanna frá árinu 2014, hversu mörg dýr voru þar við og hvort þau voru sýkt eða ekki. Spurningarnar snúast einnig um erfðafræði bakteríunnar í sýktum og ósýktum dýrum, en það hjálpar til að skilja hvernig veikan dreifist og hverjir dýr eru viðkvæmir. Svörin myndu gefa okkur mynd af umfangi vandans á Íslandi og hvort við séum með ákveðna dýraflokkun sem er sérstaklega í hættu.
