Þetta er skýrsla utanríkisráðherra um framkvæmd EES-samningsins (Evrópska efnahagssvæðisins) sem lögð var fram á Alþingi á löggjafarþingi 2023–2024. Skýrslan fjallar um hvernig Ísland uppfyllir skuldbindingar sínar samkvæmt EES-samningnum og hvernig innleiðing evrópskra reglugerða og tilskipana er háttað á landinu. Hún var lögð fram til upplýsingar og umræðu með þingmönnum um stöðu Íslands í samskiptum við Evrópusambandið og framkvæmd samningsbundinna skyldna.
This is a report from the Minister of Foreign Affairs on the implementation of the EEA Agreement (European Economic Area) submitted to the Icelandic Parliament during the 2023–2024 legislative session. The report covers how Iceland fulfills its obligations under the EEA Agreement and how European regulations and directives are incorporated into Icelandic law. It was submitted to inform and facilitate parliamentary discussion on Iceland's status in relations with the European Union and the implementation of its treaty obligations.
