Ásthildi Lóu Þórsdóttur spyr dómsmálaráðherra um nauðungarsölu fasteigna á Íslandi á árunum 2013–2023. Hún vill vita hversu oft fasteignir voru seldar með nauðungaruppboði á móti því að vera seldar á almennum markaði, hversu oft sýslumenn hafnuðu því að selja eignir á almennum markaði, og hversu oft eignir voru seldar fyrir lægra verð en fasteignamat var. Þessir tölur myndu segja okkur hvort nauðungarsölukerfi Íslands virkar sanngjarnt og hvort fasteignir eru oft seldar með tapi fyrir eigendur.
Ásthildi Lóu Þórsdóttur asks the Minister of Justice about forced property sales in Iceland during 2013–2023. She wants to know how often properties were sold through forced auctions versus being sold on the open market, how often sheriffs refused requests to sell properties on the open market, and how often properties were sold for less than their property valuation. These figures would reveal whether Iceland's forced sale system operates fairly and whether properties are frequently sold at a loss for their owners.
