Óli Birni Kárason spyr menningar- og viðskiptaráðherra fjórar spurningar um fjármál Ríkisútvarpsins. Hann vill vita hvernig fjöldi fólks sem borgar útvarpsgjald hefur breyst frá 2014 til 2024, og hvað gjaldið hefur verið á hverju ári. Hann spyr einnig hvort Ríkisútvarpið hafi fengið önnur peningar frá ríkissjóði fyrir utan útvarpsgjaldið og hvers vegna. Svörin myndu sýna okkur hvort færri borga útvarpsgjalð með tímanum og hvort ríkið styrkir útvarpið með öðrum leiðum en gjöldum almennings.
MP Óli Birni Kárason asks the Minister of Culture and Business four questions about the finances of the National Broadcasting Service. He wants to know how the number of people paying the broadcasting fee has changed from 2014 to 2024, and what the fee amount has been each year. He also asks whether the National Broadcasting Service has received other government funding besides the broadcasting fee, and the reasons why. The answers would show whether fewer people are paying the broadcasting fee over time and whether the state supports broadcasting through methods other than public fees.
