Bjarn Jónsson spyr utanríkisráðherra hvort ríkisstjórnin hafi heimilað eða vitað um að íslenska flugfélagið Blábugull flutti þúsundir apa frá Asíu og Afríku um Keflavíkurflugvöll til Evrópu og Bandaríkjanna. Hann vill vita hvort farið var eftir dýravelferðarlögum, hvort apa var fylgst með fyrir sjúkdóma, og hvort flutningarnir standa undir íslenskri löggjöf og alþjóðasamningum um dýravelferð. Svörin myndu segja okkur hvort stjórnvöld höfðu yfirsýn yfir þessum flutningum og hvort þeir væru í samræmi við reglur um umhirðu og heilsu dýra.

The answers would reveal whether authorities had oversight of these shipments and whether they met standards for animal care and health.
