Sigurður Ingi Jóhansson spyr fjármála- og efnahagsráðherra hvort allur innflutningur og sala áfengis á Íslandi fari fram samkvæmt lögum um skatta og tolla. Hann vill vita hvað ráðuneytið hefur gert síðustu fimm ár til að fylgjast með því að áfengisverslunin sé lögleg, og hann biður um nákvæmar tölur um innflutning áfengis á síðustu tíu ár, sundurliðað eftir því hvort það fer til ríkisverslunarinnar ÁTVR, smásala eða netsala. Þingmaðurinn telur þetta mikilvægt vegna þess að rannsóknir sýna að þar sem ríkið stjórnar áfengissölu, eins og á Norðurlöndum, drekka fólk mun minna en þar sem sala er frjáls. Svaranna væntum svörin að sýna hvort það eru getur með innflutning áfengis og hvort stjórnvöld eru að fylgjast með því á réttan hátt.
