Ingibjörg Davíðsdóttur spyr heilbrigðisráðherra um hvernig slys eru skráð á Íslandi og hvers vegna engar gögn hafa verið birtar frá 2019. Hún bendir á að gögn slysaskrár hafi ekki verið prófuð síðan 2013 og vill vita hver haldi utan um þessar skrár. Hún biður um ítarlegar tölur um öll slys á árunum 2020–2024, sundurliðað eftir tegundum (umferðarslys, vinnuslys, íþróttaslys o.s.frv.), mánuðum, vikudögum, tíma og aldri og kyni þeirra sem slasaðir urðu. Svörin myndu segja okkur hvort íslenskar yfirvöld hafi gögn um slysatíðni og öryggi á Íslandi, og hvort gagnaöflun okkar sé áreiðanleg.
Ingibjörg Davíðsdóttur asks the Minister of Health about how accidents are recorded in Iceland and why no data has been published since 2019. She points out that accident registry data has not been quality-checked since 2013 and wants to know who manages these records. She requests detailed numbers of all accidents from 2020–2024, broken down by type (traffic accidents, workplace accidents, sports accidents, etc.), month, day of week, time of day, and age and gender of those injured. The answers would tell us whether Icelandic authorities have reliable data on accident frequency and public safety, and whether our data collection system is trustworthy.
