The Minister of Justice answers a question from Diljá Mist Einarsdóttir about foreign prisoners serving sentences in their home country. The Ministry has been analyzing the situation and streamlining procedures in cooperation with the Prison and Probation Administration and the Directorate of Immigration. The first prisoner transfer requests are expected to be sent out soon.
