Þessi skýrsla segir frá starfsemi Íslandsdeildar Alþjóðaþingmannasambandsins á árinu 2025 og helstu þinglegum aðgerðum gegn hnattrænum áskorunum. Skýrslan fjallar um fjóra megináherslumál: félagslega þróun og réttlæti, friðarstefnu og lausn Palestínudeilu, baráttu gegn skipulagðri glæpastarfsemi og netalónum, og loftslagsbreytingum. Hún var lögð fram til þess að upplýsa Alþingi um alþjóðlega þinglegastarfsemi og þær ályktanir og stefnur sem samþykktar voru til að takast á við þessi mikilvægu málefni.
This report describes the activities of the Icelandic delegation of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in 2025 and the main parliamentary actions taken against global challenges. The report covers four main focus areas: social development and justice, peace policy and the Palestine dispute resolution, the fight against organized crime and cyber threats, and climate change. It was submitted to inform Parliament about international parliamentary activities and the resolutions and policies adopted to address these important issues.
